We’ve all dreamt about the birth of our child!  I wanted my child to enter this world PEACEFULLY!  I wanted my birth experience to be filled with JOY!  That is why I prepared for a natural birth with both of my children using the Bradley Method®, and now am teaching the Bradley Method® to other couples who want the same thing. 

 

I am glad you have visited my site.  My name is Bethany Collins.  After the birth of my second child I decided the time was right to become a Bradley® Childbirth Educator myself.  I offer Bradley Method® natural childbirth classes in the Louisville area on Tuesday nights from 6:45-8:45.  

 

I believe that birth is a normal, natural,  process and should be TRUSTED!  I also believe that with the proper education and preparation most women can give birth naturally without medication! In addition to proper education parents need to  have all the information necessary to make informed decisions during their labor!   If you are able to make informed decisions throughout your birth, then you are much more likely to have a fulfilling birth experience.  In addition to being prepared yourself for birth, I feel that all laboring women benefit from having a Doula (Labor Assistant) for physical, mental, and emotional support during labor. 

 

Birth is a miraculous time in a woman’s life!  Celebrate it!!

October 2007– Fully Affiliated Teacher & Doula with AAHCC.  (Bradley Method®)

January 2007– Was accepted in the Bradley Method training program.

2006– Birth of my second Bradley baby!

2004 –Birth of my 1st Bradley baby!

2001– Masters degree in teaching U of L (Elementary Education)

2000—Bachelors degree University of Louisville
